Little Irony

I was reading the Chapter 'Little Em'ly' in Dicken's novel 'David Copperfield' - an excellent novel so far.
 L. Em'ly's fate has turned against her of course on her own behalf - but, oh well,
if David could've been more bold things would have went better for both of them.
On the other hand, David's character causes most of the drama in the novel...

Sketched a scene combined of different 'moments' when David and Steerforth visit Mr Peggotty's.

from l. to r.: Mrs. Gummidge, Little Em'ly, Steerforth, Mr Peggotty, David Copperfield, Ham
characters and names belong to Charles Dickens
except for the illustration - that's by D.KN (me)
